Bridesmaid budgets: Because support is free but being a bridesmaid isn’t 

I was inspired to write it because I secretly love all things personal finance related, because I am a bridesmaid this year and because I will most likely be having my own bridesmaids later on for my own wedding and I always stress about what costs are appropriate or not. I don't think there's a one-size fits all answer but what do you think? Have you ever had some ridiculous costs to cover as a bridesmaid?
